Born in Ghent, Elise Maes has been passionate about working with clay since her youth. It all started with a series of traineeships as a teenager. Years later, she picked up the thread again and fulfilled a long-held dream of decorating her own studio. Since then, this beautiful craft has never let her go. Under the name LIZ.objets, in which her own name is incorporated but at the same time a pun on the French les objets, she shares her unique hand-made pieces with the outside world.
