Fréderique Vanvlasselaer

Fréderique Vanvlasselaer started making ceramics 15 years ago. As an autodidact, she was able to experiment uninhibitedly, often with surprising results. Only later did she register at the Academy of Visual Arts in Ghent to master the basic principles and techniques. This knowledge helped her to further explore the limits of the possible and to refine her own formal language. Since 2020 she has been working full-time in her own porcelain studio, Studio Fréderique in Maarkedal, where she works on limited editions and in the meantime also delivers custom work.
