Minimalist ensemble

The Heii collection is aimed at mutual enjoyment. On the birch trays, you can mix and match the wide variety of dishes in both white porcelain and grey smoked glass, and combine them with the matching coffee cups and water glasses. To make the tableware collection complete, the designer has added minimalistic, angular cutlery, which has a softer appearance, with rounded corners and edges.

Thanks to their shape and size, you can arrange the Heii bowls in a great many different ways on the matching trays, thus creating a different image each time. The rounded corners add a soft touch to the straightforward design. And the warm tone of the smoked glass goes beautifully with the porcelain and the matching wooden lid and tray.

The six square porcelain plates of different sizes (from 28 to 8 centimetres) from the Heii collection fit perfectly together. These dimensions make them suitable for every course, from appetiser to dessert. The smaller versions also fit nicely onto the Heii trays.

The Heii cups are available in four sizes to suit an espresso, cappuccino, lungo, and latte or tea. Distinctive of the Heii collection are the two versions in white porcelain and grey smoked glass. The eye-catching handles follow the shape of the porcelain underplate, which, in turn, is a perfect match for the wooden Heii coffee tray.

In Japanese, Heii means simplicity. Almost everything that Dutch designer Marcel Wolterinck designs, can be placed under this heading, including the two water glasses from his Heii collection for Serax. The grey, smoked glass adorns them with a stylish élan, and their sizes are similar to those of the cups from this modular collection. The perfect sparring partner for your cup of coffee on the Heii coffee tray.

The natural brich trays of the Heii collection appear to be floating because of their protruding edges. The small coffee tray is ideal for serving your guest a cup of coffee accompanied by a glass of water. The large tray was designed for enjoying snacks together with your table companions. The sizes and curves of the trays are perfectly attuned to the dishes and plates of the Heii collection.

The design of the Heii cutlery builds on Japanese influences and the DNA of the entire collection. Straight lines with contrasting round edges. The nine-piece cutlery set includes table and dessert knives, forks and spoons, a coffee spoon, an espresso spoon, and a butter knife. The matt brushed stainless steel version follows the porcelain range, while the black PVD coating of the dark version leans towards the smoked glass.
