The new Mattia lamp that Ceccanti designed for Serax was inspired both by Modernist architecture and by the frame of a racing bicycle. “I am a fanatical cyclist myself and I have welded the steel tubes of the lamp together in the same way as a bicycle frame.” This skill he learned from his own bicycle builders, and Mattia is one of them. This lamp was named after him.
