Over the course of three decades, Dutch designer Marcel Wolterinck has developed his own distinctive design style as an autodidact. Marcel Wolterinck: “A space or object should never be intrusive, it must be subordinate to what the occupant or user wants.” His style can be defined as timeless minimalism, with nature as the main source of inspiration. The materials he uses are earthy – natural stone, marble, wood, leather, and even ray skin. And with simple lines and the repetition of materials, he creates a sense of peace.
